When is mole removal recommended?

Not every pigmented nevus requires removal.

• Avoiding sun exposure of the scar for 6 to 12 months, until it becomes white, in order to prevent the risk of hyperpigmentation
• Returning to the doctor for suture removal according to the received instructions
